Job Description
We are an 80bed regional hospital located in Glenwood Springs Colorado. We have received much recognition locally and nationally for the patient experience including being 1 of 5 hospitals in the country to be a Planetree Designated Hospital and for being recognized by J.D. Power and Associates for having an outstanding patient experience. We are more than 50 years old as an organization but our buildings are new and have received national awards for architecture and design.
Glenwood Springs is at the crossroads of the Rocky Mountains the gateway to Aspen and Vail Colorado with many ski resorts hot springs river rafting paragliding hiking cycling fishing and countless other outdoor activities. We are on the Western Slope of the Rockies a little over 2 hours away from Denver and just over an hour from Grand Junction.
Requirements:
Our Hospital is building a new stateoftheart Cancer Center located in the center of the Colorado Rockies. We currently provide chemotherapy but the radiation therapy is a necessary addition. This person will be instrumental in the development of the services provided as well as opening the new center which is designed with the look and feel of an alpine resort.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in nursing oncology experience and at least 5 years progressive administrative responsibility for a patient care service. They also must have excellent leadership management and interpersonal skills. Business and marketing experience preferred.
