Job Description:

Our client is expanding their Workers Compensation Department and seeking to add Workers Compensation Claims Adjusters to their NC and SC operations. These positions would be responsible for handling Virginia Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge of NC and SC Workers Compensation laws and statutes. This is a fully remote position.

  • Handle moderate to complex Workers Compensation claims including litigation with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
  • Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
  • Ability to close and settle claims (very few new claims)
  • Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience handling NC and SC Workers Compensation claims.
  • NC and SC licenses required
  • Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma; Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.

Salary/Benefits:

  • $40/hour (based on experience)
