Take full lifecycle ownership of mechanical design projectsfrom concept through manufacturing handoff
Develop complete systems and subassemblies for nextgen commercial and precommercial products
Translate product requirements into mechanical solutions that balance form function and manufacturability
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in R&D electrical software and operations
Conduct design reviews generate technical documentation and present findings to leadership
Leverage advanced CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks FEA) to validate design decisions
Drive innovation by proposing new approaches and contributing to IP development
Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
10 years of handson experience in mechanical design and product development
SolidWorks expert; experience with FEA tools (ANSYS preferred)
Proven ability to design for manufacturability in both prototyping and production environments
Strong project ownership leadership and crossfunctional collaboration skills
U.S. Citizen (required for access to certain projects/facilities)
Comfortable operating in fastmoving environments where priorities evolve and creativity is valued
