Job Description
Explore an exciting opportunity with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as we eagerly welcome a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic Anesthesia Team at our Outpatient Surgery Clinic in Clemmons NC.
Position Highlights:
- Shift Schedule: PRN
- Location:AHWFB Outpatient Surgery Clinic Clemmons
- Competitive PRN Hourly Rate of $175 per hour
Where Youll Work:Clemmons Surgery Center is an outpatient network surgery clinic offering a variety of anesthesia services including: General Surgery Gynecology Dental Surgery Orthopedics Hand Surgery Otolaryngology (ear nose and throat) Pain Management Plastic Surgery Podiatry and Urology.
What Youll Do:
As a valued member of our healthcare team the CRNA will play a key role in teamfocused patient care providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Pediatric Procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
- Uses medical decisionmaking skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure perioperative and anesthesia care being sensitive to comorbidities and age & developmental guidelines.
- Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective teambased care; Uphold patient safety drive quality improvement and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
- Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards ensuring confidentiality.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility readiness and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
- Exhibit professionalism through teamwork collaboration and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.
- Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.
The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
CRNA Requirements:
- Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program Masters Degree or Higher Required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board
- Current CPR Certification ACLS BLS
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.
