Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Quality Engineer focused on Manufacturing. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring product and process excellence by developing deep expertise in quality standards conducting audits analyzing data and driving continues improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will focus on optimizing production processes and product integrity. This position involves monitoring compliance recommending process improvements and leading investigations to implement effective quality solutions. What You Will Do:

  • Develop expertise in manufacturing quality to drive process improvements and ensure high standards.
  • Conduct quality reviews internal audits and data analysis to identify gaps and enhance product reliability.
  • Monitor engineering processes supplier performance and product quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and support quality improvement initiatives using datadriven insights to recommend process enhancements.
  • Establish quality and reliability objectives by analyzing statistical data and product specifications.
  • Recommend updates to production supplier and quality standards to optimize performance and consistency.
  • Investigate quality issues implement solutions and collaborate with teams to enhance overall manufacturing and supply chain quality.

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Degree requirement: Bachelors degree in engineering or similar directly related degree.
  • Manufacturing/Supply Chain Standards Procedures and Policies: Experience applying quality standards and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments.
  • Quality Management: Experience conducting audits analyzing data and implementing process improvement to enhance product quality.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify quality issues investigate root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Strong collaboration skills to work with internal teams suppliers and stakeholders to drive quality initiatives.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to assess data evaluate risks and make informed decisions to improve quality and reliability.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Understanding process implementation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority.

Additional Info:

  • Caterpillar requires employees to work onsite in the office five days a week.
  • Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify.
  • 15 domestic and international travel is expected.
  • ISE assignments are not available.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.

Summary Pay Range:

$110520.00 $165840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
