Responsibilities
What youll be able to do:
Openings available for Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn MI. Perform full stack development on both userfacing client web applications as well as server side applications in a paired programming environment. Leverage modern frameworks open source tools and cloud technologies to develop software effectively while practicing software artisanship principles such as test driven development behavior driven development and continuous integration/continuous delivery. Deliver business value through working tested code across the full stack of technologies. Own delivered value through the entire lifecycle including development support and maintenance. Identify minimal viable product and decompose features by thinly slicing stories focusing on low cycle time and high throughput delivery. Mentor and coach more junior software engineers on principles of software engineering and software craft. Maintain high standards of quality in delivered software.
Qualifications
Youll have...
A bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience practicing and advocating for clean code principles including testdriven development (TDD) selfdocumenting code continuous refactoring and Extreme Programming (XP). In lieu of a bachelors degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated employer will accept a masters or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated. Also requires 3 years of experience: building customer facing web applications using JavaScript and Typescript for frontend client development; using Java or NodeJS for backend server development; and building customer facing web applications with ReactJS AngularJS or VueJS frontend frameworks. Position reports to Dearborn MI office. Company offers flexible work from home schedule but inoffice work is required and individual must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be but need not be acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $132350 $181430 per year.
