Job Description
KLA is looking for highenergy intern for several exciting projects in our Catania Italy location.
This opportunity will be a gateway to the KLA world to start a groundbreaking journey with one of the industrys leading semiconductor equipment companies: you will have the chance to better understand the Company and the multiple roles within it!
Specifically this position provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of subcomponents for KLAs inspection and metrology tools. In this role you will gain handson experience collaborate with top industry professionals and unlock endless possibilities for growth.
The candidate will have in charge to lead a project and propose a new infrastructure to support our Field organization with the tooling used to calibrate and align complex semiconductor equipments.
The scope of work will be:
- Acquire knowledge on tools operation and application
- Acquire skills in order to perform preventive maintenance
- Following initial tools lifecycle in the field (Installation and acceptance test)
- Data gathering and log file analyses to find proactively possible gap or issue
- Process improvement

The internship will be based in Catania with a duration of about 10 weeks.
Qualifications/Education Desired
The successful candidate should have taken classes in engineering. The candidate should have strong analytical capabilities written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. They must demonstrate perseverance and ability to work collaboratively with individuals across different functions and locations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires less than 1 year of related experience
