About the role.
The Supply Chain Intern will join McCain Foods North American Supply Chain organization and contribute to its goals and objectives. This role will support one of the following primary functions: Planning Logistics Customer Solutions E2E Network Operations or Supply Chain Excellence. The Supply Chain Intern is expected to gain a broad understanding of supply chain processes and tools potentially including inventory management capacity planning demand/supply planning warehouse management transportation planning customer relationship management and analytics.
The Supply Chain Internship program is a fourmonth experience starting in May and running through August. This position will be based out of our FLorenceville New Brunswick office and will be a hybrid position spending three 3 days a week in the office.
Accountabilities:
The Supply Chain Intern will complete work designed to develop and broaden supply chain skills. Candidates will focus on one core functional area Planning Logistics Customer Solutions E2E Network Operations or Supply Chain Excellence)which could be split between daily/weekly/monthly processes and improvement projects. Beyond those responsibilities interns will work on key development activities to grow business acumen leadership capabilities problemsolving and crossfunctional communication skills.
Participants will establish an excellent foundation for their careers by learning the following:
- A breakdown of core supply chain functions along with key roles and responsibilities
- Essential business skills including time management crossfunctional communication
- An ability to manage and organize large datasets
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or a related discipline
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data
- Detailoriented organized and the ability to work with speed and accuracy
- Ability to investigate complex issues problem solve and conduct root cause analysis
Skills:
- Ability to investigate complex issues problem solve and conduct root cause analysis
- Selfmotivated analytical and independent thinker
- Effectively communicates and builds relationships in a dynamic environment
- High proficiency in tools used for data analysis such as Excel is a must

Hybrid
Compensation Package: $23.00 $26.00CAD hourly
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education/training and other organizational needs.
