The Elementary School Social Worker Social Worker assists students in Grades K5 with personal psychological and environmental issues that affect their school performance behavior and socializationThe Elementary School Social Worker works closely with administrators teachers parents/guardians nurses psychologists social workers special educators communitybased resources and others to meet specific student needs.The Elementary School Social Worker provided crisis intervention counseling services support and case management to students and their familiesThe Elementary School Social Worker serves as a liaison between the families and school to promote collaboration in the educational and social emotional planning for studentsThe Elementary School Social Worker assesses child mental health needs and implementing short term frequent and strategic interventionsThe Elementary School Social Worker facilitates groups for identified atrisk students to develop coping social and decision making skillsThe Elementary School Social Worker participates in Mental Health Teams Child Protection Teams Data Teams and other building based teams to develop interventions to promote students successFull time benefited employees at the Danvers Public Schools are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package offered through the Town of Danvers.
