About the Role
Banyan Search is working with an leading client that is searching for a Tax Analyst to join their team. The Tax Analyst will support a broad range of tax compliance and reporting responsibilities. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working across various tax types and wants to be part of a missiondriven environment.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll handle a mix of tax filings account reconciliations and audit support. Youll also collaborate with teams across the organization to make sure tax obligations are met accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing federal and state income tax returns extensions and estimated payments
- Filing sales and use tax returns across multiple states
- Assisting with real property tax filings
- Reconciling tax accounts and booking related journal entries
- Compiling data for tax regulatory reporting
- Supporting audits handling tax notices and keeping documentation in order
- Managing W9 forms and general tax department communications
What Were Looking For
- Degree in Accounting Finance or similar; CPA or CPAeligible preferred
- 12 years experience in public accounting within a Tax oriented role within a corporate tax position that includes compliance
- Detailoriented with strong organization skills
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working with crossfunctional teams
