Were looking for a Sales Managerwith a sharp business mind strong technical knowledge and the drive to lead business growth initiatives in a highly competitive technically advanced market. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing enterprise while maintaining handson involvement in client relationships proposals and crossfunctional collaboration.
What Youll Do:
Spearhead business development initiativesidentify pursue and secure new business opportunities.
Lead proposal development efforts from concept through submission and customer negotiation.
Assess markets competitors and customer needs to influence strategic and operational plans.
Serve as the bridge between customers consultants and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Represent the company at industry events trade shows and client meetings.
Create persuasive presentations proposals and marketing content to win business.
Collaborate crossfunctionally to align business development strategies with company goals.
Contribute to longrange strategic planning and annual budgeting processes.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in technical sales proposal development and customer relationship management.
Strong understanding of government contracting and the DOD environment is highly preferred.
Exceptional communication leadership and organizational skills.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Deep knowledge of fluid flow components or related aerospace systems is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Business Marketing or a related field (Masters preferred).
5 years of product management engineering or business development experience including 3 years in a project leadership role.
Bonus Points For:
Experience negotiating thirdparty business agreements.
Familiarity with Congress DOD acquisition processes and market influencers in aerospace/defense.
Comfort balancing technical depth with highlevel strategy.
