Were Brown Insurance Services a respected familyowned independent agency with over 50 years of service in Florida. Were growing and looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Marketer to help us place new business strengthen carrier relationships and deliver value to our commercial clients.
What Youll Do:
Market and place new business with appropriate commercial carriers based on risk appetite and client needs
Prepare and submit insurance applications supplemental forms statements of values and proposals
Negotiate pricing terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers
Collaborate with producers to understand risk profiles and tailor marketing strategies
Maintain organized records in our management system and document all marketing activity
Identify crosssell opportunities and help grow the agency book of business
Provide timely followup exceptional communication and superior service to carriers clients and internal teams
Quote and place lines including:
General Liability
Commercial Property
Builders Risk
Workers Comp
Commercial Auto
Professional Liability
Construction Wraps & NonWraps
What Were Looking For:
2 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience (Marketing or Underwriting preferred)
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
Solid negotiation problemsolving and analytical skills
Proactive and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple submissions at once
Experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic TAM or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Active 220 or 440 License required
