The Opportunity

The College of Arts & Sciences (COAS) at EmbryRiddle Aeronautical UniversityWorldwide (ERAUWW) invites applications for the position of Associate Dean for Student Success and Academics and tenured Associate or Full Professor. This is an onsite position with an office at EmbryRiddle Worldwide Headquarters in Daytona Beach FL. The College seeks a dynamic nationally recognized academic leader who under the oversight of the Dean who is the Colleges chief academic officer will be responsible for college curriculum quality management and continuous improvement including assessment and evaluation and all aspects of student success specific to the needs of traditional and nontraditional learners. Reporting to the Dean and a member of the Deans Leadership Team the Associate Dean for Student Success and Academics will have a distinguished record of recognized excellence and experience that will result in strong leadership for the following within the framework of the College of Arts & Sciences Strategic Guidance 202325 and under the Deans direction:

While the Associate Dean for Student Success and Academics will be based at Worldwide headquarters in Daytona Beach FL COAS faculty are located across the country. Candidates will not only need to demonstrate an appropriate prior leadership record and experience in managing academic programs in a broad interdisciplinary setting serving a diverse audience but also be highly adept at geographically distributed academic operations and asynchronous online education as well as traditional facetoface education.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications

This is a seniorlevel position in the College requiring a Ph.D. professional credentials and disciplinary record suitable for an appointment as a tenured faculty member at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in one of the Colleges departments.
