Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Implementation & Training Services help new and existing customers successfully onboard and launch D2L products. We prioritize partnering with our customers by adopting a consultative approach.
As an Implementation Consultant you will partner with a project manager to lead implementation projects across all verticals (K12 Higher Education Corporate Government). Being the clients main technical lead you will work closely with any D2L departments necessary to ensure that each client is prepared and enabled for their launch. This is a very projectoriented role and most of the tasks completed in this role would be considered billable. Travel may be required.
The role has responsibilities that traverse a broad spectrum of technical business and project accountability including requirements facilitation business analysis technical solution design and solution implementation.
HOW WILL I MAKE AN IMPACT
- Main technical lead for implementation projects
- Conduct consultation workshops with customers to successfully elicit and clearly document requirements
- Devise technical solutions using D2L and partner products to meet customer requirements
- Guide customers through the successful implementation of technical solutions
- Deliver on projects across multiple clients concurrently
- Operate independently to execute on customer commitments
- Create and provide documentation and resources to customers
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to solution creatively and resolve challenges
- Internal knowledge and process improvement
- Promote knowledge sharing within the company
- Contribute to internal improvement initiatives as
- Keep up to date with D2L and partner products and processes
- Identify and resolve gaps in processes and documentation
- Keep up to date with new technology trends to help facilitate client learning solutions
- Contribute to internal improvement initiatives as
- Participate in other billable and nonbillable responsibilities as
WHAT YOULL BRING TO THE ROLE:

- Ability to instill confidence and influence customers decisions in a consultative manner as a trusted advisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to speak to a variety of different audiences with various levels of technical acumen
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills resulting in creative solutioning
- Ability to multitask across simultaneous projects using strong organizational skills and prioritizes effortlessly
Skills:
- Working experience with the following technologies is considered an asset:
- AWS
- API integrations Github Postman
- Single SignOn/Web Authentication
- Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau Power BI)
- XML
- HTML/HTML5/CSS
- SQL
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with one or more of the following considered an asset:
- Learning Management Systems
- SaaS Environments
- Education or Corporate Training sector
- Public Company
