Duties: The Sr Analytics Developer Clinical Effectiveness person will support the design and development of all enterprise reporting and analytics solutions in an Epic EHR (electronic health record) environment. Develop and support operational analytical and strategic reporting and analytics solutions for information consumers. Work independently with requesters to scope data needs and develop meaningful solutions. Initiate contact with clinical/operational leaders Epic application reporting leads data architects and Cogito Project Manager and coordinate communication among these groups to ensure a complete and accurate analytics product. Work in all phases of a Business Intelligence development lifecycle including requirements definition design report development deployment testing and support.
Required Qualifications: Sr. Analytics Developer Clinical Effectiveness
Minimum of five years experience with data visualization data interpretation and data analysisrequired.
Two years experience in relational databases with SQL (structured query language) experience OR Epic (EHR) Application build experience required.
Bachelors degree in computer science data science science or other similar disciplinerequired.
Capable of independently developing/maintaining SAP Crystal Reports Tableau Dashboards and/or similar reporting toolsrequired.
Knowledge of health care operationsrequired.
Knowledge of data warehouse architecturerequired.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Knowledge of testing techniques and of test cases required.
Ability to produce meaningful documentationrequired.
Strong interpersonal relations and technical competence required.
Assist in the implementation of system enhancements required.Some afterhours and weekend support .
Maintain strong relationships with application vendorsrequired.
Must have one of the following Epic (EHR) certifications: Cogito Fundamentals Clarity Data Model Caboodle Data ModelOREpic (EHR) Application build certifications i.e. Clin Doc Ambulatory etc. or similar may be considered required. Must obtain the three Cogito certifications above within the first 9 months of hire (pending Epic class availability) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Sr. Analytics Developer Clinical Effectiveness
Experience with the Epic Clarity and Caboodle Data models within one of the following data model certifications: Clinical Access or Revenue Cyclepreferred.
Experience with Epic application modules including inpatient billing HIM ASAP and Ambulatorypreferred.
Experience with Epic reporting toolspreferred.
Slicer Dicer experience preferred.
Reporting Workbenchexperience preferred.
Cogito SQLexperience preferred.
RADAR dashboardsexperience preferred.
Clinical and business experience in a healthcare settingpreferred.
SAP BI Platform experience (install upgrade configuration overall system support)preferred.
Tableau Server experience (install upgrade configuration overall system support)preferred.
Experience installing and upgrading systems in a Windows Server environmentpreferred.
Experience with ERP (enterprise resource planning) tools necessary to run a large organization (Examples: Financial HR Timekeeping etc.preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excelpreferred.
Advanced SQL Certification preferred.
