The Duxbury Public Schools is seeking candidates for the position of STEM Curriculum Supervisor 612 for theschool year.
The STEM Curriculum Supervisor will be responsible for leadership in curriculum development studentcentered instruction assessment and daily management of the 6 12 Science Department and 612 Mathematics Department. The Curriculum Supervisor will be responsible for the evaluation of assigned departmental personnel. Supervisors shall work cooperatively with teachers building administrators other Curriculum Supervisors and the Assistant Superintendent to ensure professional best practices.
Curriculum Supervisors report to the Assistant Superintendent while working under the direction of building Principals.
Curriculum Supervisors shall be DESEcertified (or be eligible for certification) as a Supervisor/Director or Building Administrator. Preferred SEI Administrator endorsed. Curriculum Supervisors are evaluated by the Assistant Superintendent with input from the building Principals.
Curriculum Supervisors shall work 210 days schedule. Supervisors will receive a salary regionally competitive and commensurate with experience. Contract duration will be negotiated with the Superintendent.
