Oracle EBS DAI SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to join our team responsible for the effective provisioning operation installation configuration and maintenance of systems hardware software and related infrastructure. This role involves providing technical support guidance and handson delivery in the planning implementation and ongoing operation of databases.

The Systems Engineer will participate in technical research and development to foster continuous innovation within the infrastructure. This position ensures that system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures comply with organizational values and regulatory requirements.

This position is located in our USA VA Fort Belvoir USAVAFOR1 office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. Preferred work location is one of our CGI offices in the Northern Capital Region; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at (Fort Belvoir VA) or other places of performance in the Washington DC metropolitan area.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for effective provisioning operation installation/configuration and maintenance of systems hardware/software/related infrastructure. Provide technical support guidance and handson delivery in the planning implementation and ongoing operation of databases. The Systems Engineer shall participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Ensure that system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements. The Systems Engineer shall document specifications project plans configurations test plans and results. Depicts complex ideas issues and designs to varied audiences; communicates project objectives scope and status to project teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Five 5 years of overall professional experience in the engineering field.
Five 5 years experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration and analysis support. Proposed Oracle systems engineer personnel shall be fully trained and experienced with the Windows and HP Unix operating systems (Windows Server 2016 / HPUX 11.3.x) Oracle Database 11g database technology PL/SQL programming Oracle stored procedures database performance tuning ER database design principles and methodology backup and recovery systems analysis security practices and system documentation. Proposed SQL systems engineer personnel shall be fully trained and industry recognized Microsoft Certified personnel experienced and familiar with both Windows 2016 and operating systems SQL Server 2012 database administration TSQL programming database performance tuning backup and recovery systems analysis security practices and system documentation.
Security Clearance: Secret
DoD 8570.01M Certification: DFARS Assurance Contractor Training and Certification is required for this position.

o IA Baseline Certification: Attachment3DOD 8570 Approved Baseline CertificationsFull

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61900.00 $137100.00.
