As Maintenance Technician you will provide technical support on production and broadcastserver systems including both hardware and software to ensure their reliability availability and maintenance. You must perform all tasks related to maintaining production equipment inform Production of any (temporary) system limitations and troubleshoot with vendors and/or maintenance technicians. You will also play an active role in implementing modifying and reconfiguring systems as well as perform operating system updates on production and broadcast servers.
Please note this an oncall position.
You possess:
Qualifications:
College diploma (DCS) in Electronics Technology or a relevant field
Five 5 years experience performing related duties
Skills:
Highly skilled at network computing
Highly skilled in troubleshooting electronic circuits soldering electronic components and wiring
Very good knowledge of digital audio/video production; Information Technology and Servers
Able to analyze faults and make quick independent decisions
Team player
Training skills
Very good knowledge of French (spoken and written)
Good knowledge of English is an asset
Ability to work well under pressure and guide teams when systems go down
Broad varied knowledge of production methods technical equipment as well as production crafts and workflows
Judgment and initiative to resolve technical issues
