The Opportunity:
Hitachi Energy in Alamo TN is seeking a Sales Inventory Operations and Planning Supervisor to join its team. Our ideal candidate excels in streamlining supply chain processes optimizing inventory management and driving sales growth. With a strategic mindset and a proven track record of leading crossfunctional teams they ensure seamless coordination between departments resulting in enhanced operational efficiency and profitability. Their expertise in data analysis and forecasting enables them to make informed decisions that align with business goals and customer satisfaction.
How youll make an impact:
Lead a group of planners to ensure that customer needs are met
Implement new or improved planning processes to improve efficiency and performance
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes labor or material shortages backlogs or other interruptions collaborating with management marketing sales production or engineering
Arrange for delivery assembly or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules
Confer with personnel vendors or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays
Work with Planning & Fulfillment Manager to develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas such as sales marketing finance and operations
Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products
Collaborate with operations team to document physical supply chain processes such as workflows cycle times position responsibilities or system flows
Your Background:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management finance business administration or closely related field
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using SAP/SAP Ariba strongly preferred
