Instrumentation & Electrical Technician
Toro Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join a leading energy company. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a handson environment ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical gas plant facilities.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine servicing of process control instrumentation including transmitters controllers and analysers.
- Support and supervise vendorspecified maintenance tasks ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Carry out equipment isolations following permit requirements for safe maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation commissioning and troubleshooting of new and existing plant facilities.
- Minimum of 45 years of maintenance experience with instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Recognised instrumentation qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 with strong electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to achieving results.
- IT literacy and competency in using maintenance management systems.
