Job Description

Develop and lead the implementations of infrastructure projects of the University.

Project Management Office Ballarat Berwick or Churchill Campus
Fulltime fixedterm appointment for 12 months
HEW 8 $109300 $122810 p.a. plus up to 17 superannuation

About the role

The Project Manager Physical Works Projects will develop and lead the implementation of physical infrastructure projects which support the core infrastructure of the University. You will guide and develop projects from loosely defined concepts through design and overseeing delivery of a wide range of capital works delivery.

You will:

  • analyse physical infrastructure requirements through research and evaluation;

  • provide strategic advice and support to the Associate Director Project and Asset Services and Program Manager Projects;

  • implementing and managing procurement processes; and

  • develop and implement a record of physical works projects.

About you

You will have comprehensive knowledge and applied experience of project management. You will be known for your strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stake holders.

You will possess:

  • a detailed understanding of the requirements for public construction including ministerial directions policies and procedures;

  • the ability to manage concurrent complex tasks shifting priorities and timelines;

  • ability to provide strategic advice and support to a broad audience; and

  • a formal qualification in project management would be advantageous.
