Job Description
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform ensuring seamless integration with other systems and driving the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow environment. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver automation improve processes and help the organization achieve its technology goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop customize and configure ServiceNow applications modules and workflows according to business requirements.
Design implement and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
Write scripts and create automated workflows to enhance functionality and improve business processes (using JavaScript GlideScript REST SOAP APIs).
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Support the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Work on incident problem and change management modules ensuring best practices are followed.
Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications UI/UX elements and automation processes.
Monitor platform health troubleshoot issues and provide support to end users when needed.
Lead efforts to ensure ServiceNow is properly configured to meet compliance and security requirements.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers and team members.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for custom developments integrations and processes.
Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates new features and best practices and proactively implement relevant changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM ITOM ITAM and other core modules.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and ServiceNow scripting languages (GlideScript AngularJS etc..
Solid experience with integrations (REST SOAP MID Server Web Services etc..
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Strong problemsolving troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Experience with ServiceNows custom application development.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
Experience with performance analytics and reporting in ServiceNow.
Familiarity with ServiceNow ITIL processes and best practices.
