Job Description
Saint Bernadette Catholic School located in West Springfield VA is seeking enthusiasticpersons to join our extended day team. This is a parttime position with flexible hours: Mondays 2:30 p.m. up to 6 p.m. and TuesdaysFridays 3 p.m. up to 6 p.m. School halfdays hours 11:30 a.m. up to 6 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates Christian caring in relationships with children and families;
- Maintains a safe clean and healthy environment;
- Provides close supervision of children in active play through appropriate positioning and monitoring of designated areas;
- Adheres to a daily schedule that balances active and quiet times free and structured times indoor and outdoor activities;
- Complies with Diocesan and Local Program Policies;
- Implements regulations applicable to the program including fire health & emergency;
- Expresses respect for all children: smiles and laughs with the children
Requirements:
1. tb test fingerprints and background checks;
2. high school diploma/GED.
