Job Description
Wallis Drilling is currently seeking experienced Air Core Drillers to join our East Coast explorations team based in Mildura VIC.

Driller duties & responsibilities include:
- Prepare for run and close downdrilling operations
- Undertake tasks relevant to Air Core drilling methods
- Allocate work tasks appropriate to crew member skills
- Operational maintenance of plant and equipment for both company and client onsite
- Conduct regular inspections (safety & operational) of drill rigs drill equipment and support vehicles
- Provide regular and concise reports on all daily activities both written and oral.
- Liaise with employees and client representatives in a professional manner
- Uphold company standards and reputation
- Ensure the safety of employees and site visitors
Essential qualifications (must have):
- 3years full time experience on surface drilling equipment
- CertIIlin Drilling (or studying towards)
- HR unrestricted drivers licence
- National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
- Be physically fit and healthy (pass detailed preemployment tests including DAS)
- Be prepared to work in a variety of environments (mine site or camps)
- Be team and safety focused and willing to learn and follow instruction
- East Coast (VIC) residency as point of hire will be Mildura VIC all other interstate applications will not be considered at this time
Beneficial qualifications (preferred):
- CertlVin Drilling (or studying towards)
- First Aid Certificate
- Fire demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
- 4WD training
- Mine company inductions (i.e. RTIO BHP FMG etc).
