Description
The Marketing/Grant Writing Intern will manage various initiatives such as brand awareness grant administration creating graphics and collateral for various departments social media management website content recruitment efforts fundraising etc.
Essential Responsibilities and Desired Outcomes
- Create designs concepts and sample work based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Engage in outsidethebox thinking to create high valueofservice for internal customers and provide suggestions and solutions in efforts to make the project deliverables more effective and efficient.
- Develop concepts for and design all collateral materials including brochures flyers posters and website for various departments.
- Manage and maintain graphic files and ensure complete and accurate information is stored in the design collective folder.
- Develop creative marketing strategies related to collateral in efforts to capture customers and interest in programs.
- Research potential foundations donor advised funds corporations and government funding agencies to best capture funding opportunities.
- Maintain grant activity reports and database activity to ensure record management.
- Assist with various fundraising event planning activities to best address financial opportunities.
- Maintain relationships through written and verbal feedback to grantors regarding the disposition of their gifts including thank you notes/letters.
