About the Position:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist / Wake Forest School of Medicine in WinstonSalem North Carolina is seeking an outstanding BC/BE AAGL fellowshiptrained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Center for Fertility and Reproductive SurgeryMinimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in an openrank faculty position. Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is a high volume referralbased practice and includes two fulltime surgeons with additional outpatient advanced practice providers. We have close clinical collaboration with Reproductive Endocrinology Colorectal Surgery Pain Medicine and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.

The right candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the surgical education and career development of trainees and fellow faculty. Experience at an academic medical center is desired but not required.
The MIGS practice provides care for complex benign gynecologic conditions with an emphasis of advanced minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic roboticassisted and advanced hysteroscopic procedures. We perform fertilitysparing surgeries and care for patients with fibroids and advanced endometriosis in collaboration with our reproductive medicine colleagues. We also provide consultative evaluation for medical interventional or surgical management of gynecologic pain conditions.

The successful candidate will join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which includes over 70 providers including 38 faculty 24 residents and 12 fellows providing care to patients at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in WinstonSalem High Point and the surrounding communities. Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a 900bed tertiary care facility located in WinstonSalem and serves as the anchor for the Wake Forest Baptist Health System. The system currently serves as a referral center for women across North Carolina eastern Tennessee and southern Virginia. As a member of the Atrium Health Enterprise faculty members at Wake Forest Baptist have an extraordinary opportunity for participation in largescale systembased educational and clinical endeavors. In addition departmental and institutional support is in place for basic science translational and clinical research for the motivated individual.
