What you will be doing!
As a VTC IT field support Specialist you will support our enduser community by providing Tier 2 and 3 onsite and remote support for computer workstations servers printers peripherals and teleconferencing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install operate maintain repair and modify enduser devices including personal computers thin clients network interface cards phones monitors printers and other communication devices such as pagers and radios.
- Perform maintenance and technical support on devices integrated systems and subsystems; install and configure software at customer and field locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software for enduser equipment.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through effective support and service
Experience and Education:- High school diploma or GED with four 4 years of relevant experience or an Associates degree with two 2 years of experience.
- 8570 Certification. Security is preferred
- Highly skilled in installing repairing and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in working with endusers remotely
- Experienced in remote support for endusers.
- Familiarity with Active Directory security and policies
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Outstanding communication skills to relate with team members and support workers
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph to be considered for this role
