Job Description

As the Vice President of Product Buyer Experience you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy for Xometrys marketplace with a focus on delivering seamless intuitive and highly efficient buyer experiences. You will oversee the strategic direction of the product guiding a highperforming team of product managers designers and crossfunctional leaders to optimize buyer interactions from discovery through checkout ensuring that every stage of the buyers journey delivers maximum value.

This role will require a mix of deep product expertise strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of both the buyers needs and broader marketplace dynamics. You will lead the development of longterm product strategies foster crossfunctional collaboration and mentor teams to ensure that Xometrys marketplace continues to deliver cuttingedge customercentric solutions. You will have the opportunity to drive key business outcomes by leveraging data driving innovation and aligning product priorities with Xometrys mission and growth objectives.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead Product Vision and Strategy: Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the Buyer Experience team that aligns with Xometrys overarching business goals. Drive the longterm vision for the marketplace ensuring a low friction buyer journey across all touchpoints.

  • Innovative Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of product managers and crossfunctional teams to execute against an ambitious roadmap that enhances the buyer experience optimizes conversions and supports business growth.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering marketing design data science and sales leadership to ensure alignment on product priorities roadmaps and .

  • DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize data market insights and customer feedback to inform product decisions. Lead the design of key performance metrics (KPIs) and continuously monitor the success of initiatives adjusting strategies as needed.

  • CustomerCentric Focus: Constantly advocate for the buyers experience leveraging customer insights to create exceptional digital experiences that meet the evolving needs of our diverse buyer base.

  • Executive Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the team and act as a liaison between senior leadership and product teams. Present key updates insights and product opportunities to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Marketplace Innovation: Drive continuous improvements to the marketplace focusing on removing friction points streamlining the path to purchase and fostering an environment where buyers can make informed decisions quickly.

  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop the product management team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous learning. Guide your team to embrace an outcomedriven mindset and ensure that every member has the tools and resources to succeed.

What Youll Need:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: At least 10 years of experience in product management with a strong track record of success in leading highperforming product teams. Prior experience in a VPlevel or senior leadership role overseeing product teams is required.

  • Marketplace Expertise: Deep experience with digital marketplaces particularly in B2B ecommerce or SaaS environments with a focus on optimizing the buyer experience and enhancing user engagement.

  • DataDriven Approach: A proven ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decisionmaking and drive product performance.

  • CrossFunctional Expertise: Extensive experience working across functional areas including engineering design data science marketing and customer success with a collaborative and influencing style.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking with the ability to set the vision make highlevel decisions and deliver results that drive company growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Change Management: Proven ability to lead and drive change within a fastpaced scaling organization. Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in a rapidly evolving business environment.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
