Overview:
Alex Bishop Lab
The Bishop Lab in Childhood Cancer Research studies cancer development prevention and therapeutic targeting using genomics molecular biology cell biology and animal model techniques. The purpose of this position is to direct the daytoday management of the Bishop Lab as well as performing benchbased research.
Responsible for management of animal (mouse) colony in close collaboration with the PI. DNA/RNA/protein purification from tissues and cells PCR genotyping; quantitative PCR; western immunoblotting; immunohistochemistry; cell culture and transfection.
