Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A client of Sunshine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center USA is actively seeking skilled and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate and personalized care to residents within our rehabilitation and nursing center. Working collaboratively with our healthcare team you will assist residents with various daily tasks ensuring their wellbeing and contributing to a supportive care environment. CNAs with a minimum of one year of healthcare experience are preferred but all candidates meeting the basic requirements will be considered.
CNA Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents; assist with eating and drinking if necessary.
- Aid in bathing grooming and dressing residents fostering their dignity and comfort.
- Reposition and assist bedridden residents; provide support to those requiring help with walking or transportation in wheelchairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility in resident rooms; change soiled bedding and bedpans promptly.
- Monitor and record vital signs daily; document resident eating habits and bodily functions reporting any significant changes to nursing staff or physicians.
- Dispense medications to residents ensuring adherence to proper dosages.
- Transport medical equipment to and from rooms based on resident requirements.
CNA Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Completion of a stateapproved CNA education and training program.
- Active CNA certification/license in good standing.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation and nursing center care.
- High level of patience empathy and compassion in dealing with residents.
- Excellent observation and communication skills to effectively interact with residents families and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in notetaking for accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to work extended hours on your feet catering to the unique demands of the rehabilitation and nursing center environment.
