You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCGI is seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team and work closely with the client from Canada. The role requires working in the Canadian time zone with business hours from 14:00 to 22:00 CET.
Job responsibilities:
The release manager is accountable for demonstrating a high level of project/release implementation management expertise through their management of releases for large or complex project(s) as well as through their professional conduct and accreditation
This includes all functions related to releases of projects from scheduling to planning of activities and managing resources accountable for the creation of new deliverables (i.e. product service or process) or for changes to existing deliverables of varying size and complexity
Directing managing and coordinating release team members may include collaboration with other people user groups internal and external consultants
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education & Experience: University degree or 710 years of industry experience with 57 years in project and release management including managing largescale releases.
Release Management Skills: Expertise in release planning scheduling stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation. Strong ability to assess and resolve crossimpacts manage delays and defects and ensure operational readiness. Proven track record in process improvement issue resolution and training/crosstraining teams.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership communication and relationshipbuilding skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities resolve conflicts professionally and manage highpressure situations. Confident in escalating and resolving release issues.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Confluence Jira Clarity Forecasting and OpenText WEM. Working knowledge of Linux Oracle and Java.
