The Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinaiinvites applications for an appointment to lead artificial intelligence related research initiatives related to skin cancer diagnostics at the Waldman Skin Cancer Center.

Centers specialists are skilled in providing the full range of nonsurgical and surgical therapies for melanoma.
The ideal candidate will provide high quality dermatology services to adults. Candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care quality outcomes and satisfaction. In addition we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. Responsibilities include both to pathology related diagnostics as well as noninvasive diagnostics using tape stripping reflective confocal microscopy (RCM) and dermoscopy. The applicant should have an extensive background in the realm of dermatology and dermatopathology and should know how to both capture and read RCM images as well as know how to interpret dermoscopy images.

Salary ranges from 400K to 450K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience specialties historical productivity historical collections and hospital/community need.
