Effective January 1 2025 and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44939.5 all applicants for certificated positions must disclose a complete list of all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) where they have been previously employed including fulltime parttime or substitute roles. LEAs include school districts county offices of education charter schools and state special schools. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions.

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Career and Technical Education (CTE) Culinary Arts teacher to join our innovative education team. The ideal candidate will bring handson industry experience in culinary arts hospitality or a related field along with a strong commitment to engaging students through realworld practical learning. As a CTE teacher you will inspire students to explore careers in the culinary and hospitality industries while helping them develop essential technical and professional skills. Requirements / Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California CTE credential inHospitality Tourism and Recreation
OR
3 years of industry experience (paid or unpaid) at least 1 year must be handson
Some of that experience must be recent 1 year in the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10
Up to 2 years of the requirement can be met through relevant coursework 24 semester units 1 year)
Advanced industry certification can count for 1 year
AND
High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Credential Copy If applicable (Copies of credentials must be current printouts of the credential document details page from the CTC website that shows the document term expiration date authorizations and renewal codes. Certificates will not be accepted.
- Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to)
- Recommendation Letters (Three current letters dated within the last two years)
- Resume (Must include the last 10 years of work experience and related experience whether paid or unpaid)

- Pay dependent on experience
- Candidates with two or more years of fulltime K12 public school experience start on step 3.
