Were looking for a passionate and dynamic Spanish teacher to join our team of dedicated educators who are committed to helping students thrive. The ideal candidate is not only wellversed in Spanish language and culture but also brings energy and creativity to the classroom. A strong focus on learning through reading writing speaking and active classroom discussion is essential.
We value collaborationour Spanish teachers work closely in professional learning communities (PLCs) to develop engaging lessons share strategies and support student success.
Candidates will be evaluated using KCSDs Teacher Evaluation Systems based on the four Danielson Domains:
Planning and Preparation
Classroom Environment
Instruction
Professional Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan organize and deliver effective instruction in alignment with KCSD curriculum and standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
Encourage language acquisition and cultural understanding through varied instructional strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to schoolwide initiatives.
Maintain clear and open communication with students families and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement for Spanish.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Willingness to collaborate learn and grow as part of a team.
Ability to meet physical requirements in compliance with OSHA and district safety standards.
