Adjustment Counselor

We are seeking a dedicated and teamoriented Adjustment Counselor to join our unique educational community. This role requires exceptional communication skills flexibility and a commitment to supporting students in both virtual and inperson settings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a nontraditional school environment working collaboratively to help students overcome personal and academic challenges.

About the Role:
As an Adjustment Counselor you will:
- Provide socialemotional support and counseling to students facing academic personal and social challenges.
- Work closely with teachers administrators and families to develop strategies that promote student success.
- Support students in both virtual and inperson learning environments adapting counseling approaches accordingly.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to address students emotional and behavioral needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed.
- Help students develop selfadvocacy coping skills and resilience in a supportive studentcentered setting.

Qualifications:
- Licensed as a School Adjustment Counselor in Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience working with students in alternative innovative or nontraditional educational settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in both virtual and inperson environments.
