Job Description:
A position is available for a postdoctoral fellow to perform translational biomedical research studies 50 effort) and assist in teaching data science course and content 50 effort). Research experience may be in silico (data science biomedical informatics or clinical informatics) or wet laboratory focused. Experience as a user of bioinformatics is desirable. Successful applicants will also have a strong background in writing publishing manuscripts and contributing to grant applications as well as teaching experience. The overarching goal for this position is for a 23 year postdoctoral position with transition to faculty status.

Preferred Qualifications:
Communication and other skills:
*Experience with biochemical approaches preferred.
*Strongly motivated to establish an independent research career in Neurosciences.
*Must be flexible and able to manage multiple high priority demands.
*High priority will be given to candidates with biochemical or bioinformatic training.
*Desire to learn bioinformatics.
*Experience with teaching preferred.
