Regions Hospital in St. Paul MN is looking for a EMD Professional Practice Operations Coordinator to join our Emergency Department. The EMD professional practice operations coordinator will have primary responsibility for creation and ongoing maintenance of physician and physician assistant schedules payroll and PTO reporting physician and physician assistant expense reimbursement new provider onboarding and general administrative office support.
Tasks involved in schedule creation include user profile set up scheduling rules generation and maintenance a detailed understanding of the technical capabilities of the electronic scheduling software initial schedule generation and subsequent schedule manipulation. Schedule maintenance duties include managing unfilled shifts and sick calls during regular business hours and occasionally after hours. The payroll reporting tasks include biweekly reporting for all PAs and moonlighting MD staff. This role will also be primarily responsible for new provider onboarding credentialing and privileging frequently at multiple practice locations. General office support tasks include assisting with meeting scheduling for department leadership distributing mail ordering supplies answering phones greeting visitors and other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday Business Hours.
