Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Purpose of the role
Working closely with the Manufacturing Management Team the Assembly Support Technician will keep material flowing to the shop floor i.e shortages consumables new builds. To be the interface between stores and manufacturing clearing any day to day issues that arise between these departments and to keep materials and processes flowing with a lean operating system.
This position is key to the performance and drive in a modern production environment. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to establish a career in a fastgrowing awardwinning company with a clearly defined career development path.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am2pm (week 1 and 2pm10pm (week 2. There may also be the requirement to work on a night shift basis.
This position is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Shortage clearance
Replenishment of consumables
Completion of jobs from work centers
Pulling of material on to the shop floor
Delivering complete assemblies back to stores
