Job Description
CCA is looking for dedicated professionals to lead and supervise activities in our before school program. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent have experience working with children and be committed to CCAs mission and values.
Responsibilities include:
Transition scholars from arrival to the before school classroom in accordance with the CCA way
Joyfully engage scholars in activities that build relationships and engage their creativity
Take responsibility for safe and compliant drop off for each scholar in accordance to CCA policies
Communicate openly honestly regularly and effectively with families scholars and CCA staff
Attend school wide functions and community events as requested.
Before School Leaders will perform other duties as required to achieve the schools mission.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in teaching or managing students.
Enthusiasm for teaching creative subjects.
Evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player.
Experience working with a culturally diverse student body preferred.
Ability to:
Work hard to achieve the schools mission.
Improve the minds and lives of scholars in and out of the classroom.
Communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written language.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with a variety of people.
Engage families and the larger community in the life of the school.
