Job Description

Saint Raphael Academy is a Catholic college preparatory high school of approximately 440 students founded in the tradition of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. Our expectation is for all of our students to graduate and attend college after leaving the Academy. During the last 3 years we have met both of these objectives. We are looking to hire a High School Science teacher to augment our wonderful Science Department. The teacher would be ideally able to instruct chemistry physics and anatomy. The position is for the are looking for the right candidate; a selfstarter who engages the students and sets high expectations in their classroom. You would be responsible for teaching a variety of science classes at our Academy and it would equate to approximately 125 students with 5 sections daily. Being well versed in the lab is a plus. It would be helpful if you were an experienced Science teacher in a high school environment but it is not a requirement.
