Witha sizable retail store grab and go caf and WestCoast inspiredfullservicerestaurantthere is never a dull day at this beautiful tourist destination. If you are passionate aboutquality food and beveragesorganizationandenjoy working on a teamwe would love to hear from are looking for a Prep / Line Cook motivated by a passion for food and personal and professional growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare grab and go items for the Cafe including soup sandwiches and baked goods.
- Abide by all policy & procedures as outlined by the kitchen manual.
- Control waste and spoilage.
- Assist with cleaning sanitation and organization of kitchen walkin cooler and all storage areas.
- Participate in daily shipping receiving distribution inventory and control over kitchen supplies
- Ensure the quality of food is outstanding every time and items are produced quickly and efficiently with pride and attention to detail
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef de Partie.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience necessary
- Formal kitchen training an asset
- Strong oral communication skills
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences guests are amazed by
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to multitask
- Food Safe Level 1 certification.
- You THRIVE in a fast paced environment and can multitask with ease.
- You lead with a positive attitude outgoing personality and bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day!

Considerations:
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
- While performing the duties of this position team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
Wage: $19.00 $22.00
