Job Description

Position Description:


The Director of Network Services for Jefferson Parish Schools plans and oversees all aspects of the Lead Agency Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) and any other Early Childhood (EC) grantfunded projects. Network Partnership responsibilities include project planning implementation and evaluation; recruiting training and evaluating district and contracted staff; and coordinating and monitoring all network service functions.


Reports To: Executive Director of Early Childhood

Scope of Responsibility:

* Ensure and oversee all aspects of the CCRR grant including but not limited to coaching
professional development resource center and technical assistance.
* Oversee and ensure the complete implementation of the Common Enrollment and Registration processes including adherence to lottery timelines application eligibility reviews and work plans.
* Develop and manage staff training schedules for the registration process and coordinate
registration help sessions to support families and stakeholders.
* Ensure timely completion and submission of all required reports to the Louisiana Department of Education (LDE) including but not limited to Child Count Coordinated Enrollment Plan Data Certification and EC Guide Professional Development Plan.
* Oversee the development implementation and management of CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) observation requirements for the LDE.
* Oversee the development implementation and management of the Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate (ECAC) Program.
* Coordinate or arrange for ongoing CLASS observation training across Infant Toddler and PreK levels to maintain a skilled and adequate pool of observers.
* Coordinate and facilitate all meetings related to the collaborative including but not limited to Core Leadership Team and Collaborative Network Directors monthly meetings and CCRR meetings.
* Collaborate with fiscal and accounts payable teams to support budget planning budget
projections revisions and audits for both state and local funding as required by the LDE.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with financial protocols and timelines for all funding sources.
* Oversee and manage the LA 4 Diverse Delivery Project ensuring adherence to program goals timelines and compliance with applicable policies.
* Prepare and review budgets invoices contracts and CEAs/MOUs related to all projects.
* Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities that align with the departments needs and
priorities.
* Oversee the preparation submission and management of all grantfunded projects ensuring successful and adherence to all grant requirements.
* Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Early Childhood Programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be detailoriented independent selfstarters who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to raising student achievement and who have a record of high performance in challenging situations and will also demonstrate:


* An earned Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
* Minimum of three 3 years of teaching experience
* Successful and documentable experience that impacted student achievement.
* Technology skills such as proficiency in word processing software (e.g. Microsoft Word Google Docs) strong data entry skills with the ability to manage and input information accurately into data systems and experience with website support and maintenance including troubleshooting and assisting with content updates.
* Maintain current Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) certifications in Infant Toddler and PreK.
* High degree of professionalism with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently demonstrating sound judgment and disciplined thinking.
* Ability to organize and motivate people.
* Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
* Integrity initiative and good moral character.
* Ability to relate to students staff administration parents and community.
* Possess desirable attributes of personality enthusiasm and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decisionmaking results.
* The ability to be visionary and strategic is essential.


Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working with community based programs.
Physical Involvement:
Sitting is required most of each workday. Must be able to operate office equipment. Standing walking reaching bending and lifting up to 10 pounds is sometimes required. Ability to provide own transportation to schools work locations and meeting sites. Mobility skills are necessary to access a variety of work locations including locations not on the ground floor.
