About the Role
As the Operations Project Manager you are responsible for executing key projects on time within budget and according to quality standards. Your goal is to elevate the Operations Department consisting of Sales & Operations Planning Supply Chain and Order Management teams to bestinclass performance. You will lead projects to optimize processes improve efficiency and support business growth in areas ranging from forecasting and inventory allocation to sales order intake manufacturing and logistics. You will have high visibility to several key stakeholders across Operations Sales Marketing and Finance.
What You Will Do
- Lead ideation sessions with stakeholders to identify and prioritize a project pipeline that supports business goals and growth targets
- Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements providing actionable recommendations to improve operations efficiency and effectiveness
- Define project scope timelines and resource requirements (both internal/external) to achieve deliverables
- Submit a Business Requirements Document (BRD) to outline a costbenefit analysis for securing any necessary budget
- Outline communication plan to gain organizational alignment and keep all stakeholders informed of progress risks and resource allocation
- Plan and lead change management efforts to ensure successful and sustained project results
- Document project deliverables and capture lessons learned
- Build a suite of project management tools and templates to enhance PMO efficiency.
What You Need
- Bachelors degree in operations or business administrationrelated field.
- 5 years of experience directly managing operationsfocused crossfunctional projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including internal (Sales Marketing Operations Finance) and external (Customers Suppliers) partners
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software (Jira Smartsheet or similar)
What is Nice to Have
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean 5S Continuous Improvement Kaizen Value Stream and Process Mapping
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification
- Knowledge of SAP ERP / MRP system is highly preferred.
- Fastmoving consumer goods experience is a plus.
