Job Description

Position Summary
The Luddy School of Informatics Computing and Engineering seeks a postdoctoral fellow in the area of science of science. Position is for 1 year with a possibility of an extension of an additional year. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Santo Fortunato on science of science with focuses on 1 exploration of knowledge landscapes via language models (including large language models) 2 measures of innovation and scientific progress 3 prediction of future breakthroughs and fields. The successful candidate will process and analyze data from large bibliometric repositories and help build models to explain the observed empirical features of the system at study.
