ToyotasEnvironmental & Facilities EngineeringDepartment is looking for a passionate and highly motivatedProject Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage construction projects (expansions renovations greenfield etc. at North American production plants and other facilities.

Reporting to the Manager Environmental & Facilities Engineering the person in this role will support the Plant & Environmental Engineering departments objective to provide project management construction and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality cost schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants.

What youll be doing

  • Develop criteria (mechanical electrical fire protection civil/structural etc. for design of buildings.

  • Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in the areas of building design and construction including development and maintaining of building related standards.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site as well as for submittals during project management.

  • Provide experience in plant planning project management construction and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality cost schedule and safety KPIs.

  • Mentor engineers construction coordinators and other project personnel to increase their skillset in industrial construction.

  • Create Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Science (Engineering: Electrical Mechanical Civil Chemical Architectural)

  • 5 years of minimum experience in building design and construction

  • 5 years of minimum experience in industrial buildings and building related systems

  • 5 years of minimum experience in project management of industrial construction projects with value of $10M

  • 75 travel

What you may bring

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA

  • Experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping chilled water compressed air etc.

  • Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear power distribution systems 480VAC and higher)

  • Experience in office renovation projects

  • Experience in industrial structural steel systems

  • Experience in large scale civil installations

  • Intermediate level experience in AutoCAD
