Padres Camps Operations Internship
Padres Baseball & Softball Camps is now hiring an Operations Intern for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego and Southern Orange County.Are you passionate about sports and eager to gain handson experience in the dynamic world of professional sports operations The San Diego Padres Baseball & Softball Camps are looking for driven detailoriented Operations Interns to help bring an unforgettable summer camp experience to young athletes across Southern California!
At Padres Camps we do more than just teach baseball and softballwe create lifelong memories through toptier instruction character development and exclusive Major League experiences. As an Operations Intern youll play a key role in ensuring the seamless of our camps learning the ins and outs of event management logistics and daytoday operations within a professional sports environment.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key apprentice to our leadership team as warehouse manager
- Master the quality assurance and receiving of all vendor items such as sports uniforms giveaways equipment and supplies
- Keep a close eye on inventory and budget with rigorous attention to detail
- Oversee shipments of ordered materials delivered to the warehouse/receiving site in Carlsbad and organize each shipment efficiently
- Procure specialty items from local stores such as Home Depot Target etc as needed.
- Handson packing and inventory management of bins headed to each camp site including packing of uniform bags presummer
- Sort and organize baseball equipment and general camp supplies again separating it by site
- Prepare Camp Vans by retrieving packing and coordinating with each team to get them the van safely.
- Collaborate on the of events uniform packaging and distribution and camp programming and giveaways
- Make supply trips to various camp sites throughout San Diego and Southern Orange County ensuring that site operation and inventory needs are met on an ongoing basis during the camp sessions
- Fillin on site at camp at times of additional staffing needs
- Be available to start this internship no later than May 15 2025 and available to work through at least early August
- Be available to work 20 hours or more per week when camp is in session between 7:00AM3:00PM (Monday through Friday) and some weekends.
- Have reliable transportation of your own to use throughout the summer
- This position requires significant driving to/from camp sites and our warehouse delivering supplies. The ideal candidate would have a vehicle capable of holding multiple large boxes (position will be reimbursed for fuel expenditure)
- Be able to work in outdoor conditions during summer months and lift carry and transport up to 50 pounds
- This is a paid internship $19.00/hour and includes reimbursement for certain travelrelated expenses.
- Eligible for free tickets to select San Diego Padres home games
- Help with the of and attend in our endofsummer camper reunion event at Petco Park
