Job Description

Use Your Power for Purpose

The Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for leading the deployment of Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) and Operational Excellence (OpEx) methodologies to enhance operational performance across the Focus Factories at the site. This role involves developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive efficiency and reduce waste as well as setting standards.

Your strategic thinking and passion for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives will help optimize processes enhance efficiency and reduce costs while fostering a culture of innovation and datadriven decisionmaking.

You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and the Operational Excellence Leads within the Focus Factories to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and facilitates training and development programs to build operational excellence capabilities within the organization. Along with this you will coach teams on setting monitoring and analyzing standards that drive towards process improvement. You will partner with the abovesite Operational excellence team to build links into the network and continue to identify tools and ways of working to improve our workflows and processes.

As a leader you will cultivate and reinforce appropriate Pfizer values and behaviors and will provide oversight to individuals and teams on professional development performance and quality related issues. This position will report directly to the Strategy & Operational Excellence Lead.

What You Will Achieve

In this role you will:

  • Lead the deployment of IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence) and OpEx (Operational Excellence) methodologies to improve operational performance.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with the abovesite Operational Excellence team to continue to align on the ways of working and tools available to the site
  • Facilitate training and development programs to build OpEx capabilities within the organization.
  • Set monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on OpEx tools and techniques providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen events Gemba walks and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelors degreewith 6 years of relevant experience
  • Or Masters degreewith 5 years of relevant experience
  • Or PhDwith 1 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience with operations management consulting methodologies and frameworks
  • Proven business acumen with experience in managing projects teams programs or workstreams of varying levels of complexity
  • Ability to translate and present data visualization into actionable business decisions
  • Basic understanding of finance and good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in Change Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of IMEx standards and PCT deployment process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Previous supervisory management experience in problemsolving decisionmaking negotiating and conflict resolution skills
  • Indepth knowledge and experience with investigations and compliancerelated procedures
  • Capability in Lean and Six Sigma tools and/or desire to grow those capabilities to further drive Continuous Improvement projects


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to move around the site handle tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret data documents and computer screens.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • High attention to detail ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills ability to analyze KPIs and data.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data and analysis.

NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • May require working nonstandard hours or shifts
  • Travel to different sites or locations may be necessary to ensure alignment and support for initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120800.00 to $201400.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5 of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
