Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate biweekly reading/literacy program
- Collaborate with the supervisor to determine the optimal library reading and literacy activities for elementaryaged students
- Research appropriate reading materials for the elementary age group that reflect Regent Universitys values
- Create and deliver interactive reading and literacy experiences with children
- Design and develop engaging educational content for elementaryaged children that aligns with Regent Universitys values and mission
Requirements:
- 12 years of instruction experience required
- Ability to handle maintain attendance and feedback records with accuracy and orderliness
- Ability to convey reading and literacy instructions in a pleasant empathetic and confident manner
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with children parents and team members
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to understand remember and carry out oral and written directions
- Ability to give attention to detail
