Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate biweekly reading/literacy program
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to determine the optimal library reading and literacy activities for elementaryaged students
  • Research appropriate reading materials for the elementary age group that reflect Regent Universitys values
  • Create and deliver interactive reading and literacy experiences with children
  • Design and develop engaging educational content for elementaryaged children that aligns with Regent Universitys values and mission

Requirements:

  • 12 years of instruction experience required
  • Ability to handle maintain attendance and feedback records with accuracy and orderliness
  • Ability to convey reading and literacy instructions in a pleasant empathetic and confident manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with children parents and team members
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to understand remember and carry out oral and written directions
  • Ability to give attention to detail
