Job Description
Mixlab the fastgrowing veterinary compounding pharmacy is hiring a Compounding Pharmacist in our Los Angeles pharmacy. We are looking for a Pharmacist who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly! friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our LA operations run smoothly and to make Mixlab a 100 dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.
This is a fulltime hourly role at $60$64 per hour depending on individual qualifications license experience and skillset.
Responsibilities:
- Compound nonsterile pharmaceutical preparations including but not limited to the compounding of capsules tablets oral liquids and topical medications.
- Compound medications fill and label prescriptions and package medications in other words fullservice compounding from chemicals to packaging.
- Counsel clients on different medications needs usages and instructions.
- Keep accurate records and monitor inventory levels in accordance with USP 795 State Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics.
- Perform Care Pharmacist duties on an as needed basis
About You:
- You are a licensed pharmacist in CA in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy
- You have formal training in nonsterile compounding or equivalent experience
- You have 2 years of experience in nonsterile compounding with preference given to veterinary compounding experience
- Your attention to detail is impeccable and you have incredibly high standards for accuracy and quality
- You are collaborative and have a desire to work in a teamoriented fastpaced startup environment

Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay our total compensation package for fulltime employees includes benefits and equity. We determine individual pay based on qualifications for the role experience level and skillset and we expect offers made to candidates to fall throughout the range advertised.
