Job Description

Job Summary

The Analyzer Technician position is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to be a part of a collaborative team culture and grow their career. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection and repairs on Process analyzers and Sample systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of process analyzers
  • Capable of reading and understanding P&IDS PFDS and perform maintenance tasks using instrument loop sheets.
  • Responsible for emergency callout and rotating weekly oncall duty
  • Maintain and promote a safe work environment at all times and follow Safe Work Practices established by TPC Group
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation for Preventive Maintenance Mechanical Integrity tasks and regulatory required calibrations
  • Use of all types of testing equipment
  • Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on Gas Chromatographs (GC)
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of (GC) Siemens Maxum II Applied Automation (Advanced OptiChrom) and Yokogawa GC1000 Mark II analyzers
  • Responsible for Teledyne Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS) Analyzer maintenance calibration and repair
  • Calibration repair and maintenance of analytical instruments like O2 CO and Moisture analyzers

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Instrumentation AND 1 years experience OR a minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair analytical equipment
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or within a group
  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position
