Job Description
Job Summary
The Analyzer Technician position is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to be a part of a collaborative team culture and grow their career. We have a competitive and progressive pay scale annual bonus eligibility for benefits and 401(k) on date of hire and much more. Work 4/10s with Fridays off and rotating on call schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and repairs on Process analyzers and Sample systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on all types of process analyzers
- Capable of reading and understanding P&IDS PFDS and perform maintenance tasks using instrument loop sheets.
- Responsible for emergency callout and rotating weekly oncall duty
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment at all times and follow Safe Work Practices established by TPC Group
- Maintain electronic and paper documentation for Preventive Maintenance Mechanical Integrity tasks and regulatory required calibrations
- Use of all types of testing equipment
- Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on Gas Chromatographs (GC)
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of (GC) Siemens Maxum II Applied Automation (Advanced OptiChrom) and Yokogawa GC1000 Mark II analyzers
- Responsible for Teledyne Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS) Analyzer maintenance calibration and repair
- Calibration repair and maintenance of analytical instruments like O2 CO and Moisture analyzers
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Instrumentation AND 1 years experience OR a minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair analytical equipment
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or within a group
- Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position
